The use of infrared 6-point technology makes them perfect for use in public locations because a finger, gloved-hand or stylus can be used as a pointer. Unlike capacitive touch screens, infrared touch screens do not require any glass patterning. Activating the screen requires no pressure and so will incur less damage over time. Not only does this improve optical clarity but it also increases its durability. The protective glass on the Multi-touch screen display has a Mohs scale hardness rating of 7, giving it the same hardness as quartz.

These monitors are offered in four different sizes from 32” to an 55” and accept VGA and HDMI video inputs. The touch screen interface is via a USB. Screen resolutions are from HD on the small units to full HD on the large units.
