The use of infrared 6-point technology makes them perfect for use in group learning applications because a finger, gloved-hand or stylus can be used as a pointer. Unlike capacitive touch screens, infrared touch screens do not require any glass patterning. Activating the screen requires no pressure and so will incur less damage over time. Not only does this improve optical clarity but it also increases its durability. The protective glass on the screen display has a Mohs scale hardness rating of 7, giving it the same hardness as quartz.

These large screen monitors are offered in three different sizes 65", 70" and 84" and accept VGA and HDMI video inputs. The touch screen interface is via a USB. Screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 on all sizes.
